Eventageous Shocks The Pineapple
All the talk at the Pineapple Hotel was not about Shocking's grand performance in taking out the 2009 Melbourne Cup, it was about the $5,300 return for the punters club by Eventageous Director Bradley Milner.
Over 280 guests turned out for the two Eventageous managed events with the Pineapple Hotel serving up sumptuous seafood platters and premium beverages.
The hosted events which included entertainment, sweeps, raffles and a punters podium left one lucky guest $800 richer, another with $500 and 40 guests with $100 each for their $10 investment.
Fashions on the field was hotly contested with many who dressed to impress on cup day 2009.
