Record Attendance
The City Pacific Finance marquee on Doomben 10,000 Day was the largest in its 15 year history. Originally held at Eagle Farm on Stradbroke Day, the function is a must attend event on the calendar.
Channel 7's Richard Champion was the Master of Ceremonies on the day and was joined by Michael Kasprowicz and Steven Bradbury in the marquee. The room was buzzing later in the day when leading Australian jockey Darren Beadman and Kiwi Leith Innes took time out of their busy race day schedules to join the marquee for an on stage chat.
The Trevor Hart Quartet kicked off the afternoon with some swinging jazz which was followed by a sumptuous Seafood Buffet lunch.
