Capacity Field for Pineapple Cup
The award winning Pineapple Hotel was at capacity for Melbourne Cup 2007. Guests were treated to a sumptuous seafood lunch accompanied by Four Sisters Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot.
The hosted function which included entertainment, sweeps, raffles, and a punters podium which left one lucky guest $500 richer and six others with $200 from the proceeds of the successful investments throughout the afternoon.
Jockey's Jim Byrne and Bobby Elissa were also on hand to provide guests with some advice along with Brisbane Bronco's, Queensland and Australian Rugby League star Justin Hodges.
Fashions on the field was a hotly contested event with many who dressed to impress this Melbourne Cup at the Pineapple Hotel.
Congratulations to Elliott Griffin from Suncorp who took out this years Pineapple Cup phantom race call ahead of DKM's Sharon Pullen and Westpac's Kylie Lano.
